About
Born in Quito, raised Brighton, Charlotte is a 22-year-old half British, half Ecuadorian singer- songwriter. Combining vulnerable yet witty, tongue in cheek lyrics, powerful storytelling and raw, jazzy vocals, she enchants an audience, taking them on a journey through love, heartbreak, and the confusing emotional turmoil that is being in your early twenties. Her music shifts between singer-songwriter, folk, neo-soul and jazz influences.
Moving to Paris at the age of 18, this is where Charlotte first began to song write, singing her original music at open mics before going on to perform at a number of venues such as Scandle and La Miroiterie in Paris and Mezrab in Amsterdam as both a support and headline artist. Recently back in London, she has performed twice at The CAVE in Hackney Wick with her band.
Alone her tiny, mouldy, overpriced room, sat on a bed with a guitar and notebook, these stories are ‘hers’, but when given a stage, a microphone, and an audience, perhaps they could be yours too?
